Training programs for athletic performance could or will include areas such a strength, speed, power, endurance, flexibility, mobility, agility, nutrition, pre-rehabilitation, and reduced injury risk. A general program will include these components and a more specific program may only include a few, depending on the athletes needs based on weaknesses and/or imbalances and strength

True functional training is how well exercise and equipment selections transfer to that purpose or goal, not what type of exercise it is. Functional training performed correctly, will lead to better joint mobility and stability, as well as more efficient motor patterns. Improving these factors decreases the potential for injury.

$85 flat rate

Learn how food affects the body and how diet can be used to prevent disease and promote a healthy lifestyle. Able to evaluate diets, make recommendations for change and teach how to adopt new nutritional habits

Post-Rehab Consulting

Maintaining your strength, range of motion and muscular function is essential after you have completed a physical therapy program. Often, we overlook the importance of post-rehab strength and conditioning, jeopardizing the improvements made during physical therapy. By following a consistent post-rehab program that includes exercises specific to your medical condition, you can improve and maintain strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and joint stability.

 

Exercise Management for Chronic Disease and Disability

Regular physical activity is one way of decreasing disability as well as decreasing the costs of healthcare. People with chronic disease, exercise is effective in increasing fitness and correcting some risk factors for the development of disease complications. Exercise tolerance or muscle strength can be improved in patients with different diseases and disability without having detrimental effects on progression. In some instances, pain symptoms may also be reduced
